Corporate Activities to Uphold Health through “Immune-System Care”
Your health leads to happiness for others in your life. The contentment of each of us, meanwhile, leads to greater satisfaction around the world.
At KIRIN, we mobilize the fermentation technology fostered by producing beer for over 130 years, along with our fortes in scientific research targeting microorganisms and other life forms. This stance is rooted in our belief that immune function truly serves as the foundation supporting everyday health.
Working from our desire to expand a world where each individual enjoys solid health and happiness, we continue to advance activities throughout Japan designed to uphold health with proper “immune-system care.”
Activities Supporting Children’s Health
For people to enjoy long and healthy lives, KIRIN believes that cultivating proper immune-system care habits from our childhood years is of ultimate importance.
Rooted in this conviction, KIRIN furnishes opportunities for kindergarten and nursery school pupils to learn about immune-system care, while likewise offering special classes geared to the needs of elementary school students.
To support children’s well-being, proper health practices on the part of adults are imperative.
Toward that end, KIRIN supplies parents and other guardians with applications crafted to support immune-system care, while furnishing exceptional immune-care supplements to preschool teachers.
On the strength of these and other initiatives, proper daily immune-system care habits are steadily expanding among children throughout Japan.
Approximately 90% of pediatricians feel that immunity in children is declining
Comparing the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and the present time (study conducted in 2023), 89% of the pediatricians surveyed report they feel that immune strength in children is declining.
Efforts to raise immunity and uphold one’s own health also lead to improved well-being for friends, teachers and family members engaged in group lifestyles.
Setting our sights on this critical theme, KIRIN promotes activities aimed at expanding effective immune-system care to children of all ages.

KIRIN Kids’ Care Initiatives
A project rooted in the fruits of long years of KIRIN health science research, positioned to support good health for children of all ages.
We support the daily health and futures of children by expanding health awareness efforts at kindergartens, nursery schools and elementary schools and by providing fine products, services and other activities.
Support for preschools promoting immune system care
KIRIN designates kindergartens and nursery schools engaged in immune-system care programs targeting children, their families and preschool teachers as “Immune-Care Promotion Preschools,” furnishing solid support for such activities.
Supplied as one phase of this vision are distinctive picture card shows addressing the theme of “MUTEKIDS: Backed by Four Power Sources,” posters furthering initiatives underway at preschools and development and distribution of other comprehensive “immune-system care enlightenment activity kits.”
As part of this vision, we provide distinctive picture cards that address the theme of “Invincible Kids Backed by Four Power Sources” and posters that further initiatives underway at preschools, as well as developing and distributing other comprehensive immune-system care enlightenment activity kits.
Likewise provided are sticker charts for immune-system care to encourage families to join in and support the daily push to promote proper immune-system care.
In 2025, a grand total of over 2,000 preschools around Japan launched activities qualifying them as so-called “Immune-Care Promotion Preschools.”

LINE Official Account: “Everyday Immunity Activities by KIRIN”
“Immunity Activities” is an abbreviation of “Immune System Care Activities,” referring to efforts to incorporate proper immune care habits in everyday life. KIRIN developed an official LINE account to help support the incorporation of immune-system care in our daily routines.
In addition to infection outbreak updates, easy-to-follow recipes supervised by nutritionists, information prepared by immunity researchers and pediatricians and other useful data, also attached is a memorandum function enabling ready compilation of family health records. The result is an impressive array of information useful in the practice of proper daily immune-system care.
Pressing on the “Add Friends” button” or reading the 2D code moves the system to the “Add Friends” screen. Another option is to search on the “Daily Immune Activity” function on LINE.
Special Immune-System Care Classes for Elementary School Students
At KIRIN, mobilizing the fruits of research into immune systems conducted for more than 35 years, we offer special classes targeting elementary school students under the theme of “Making Every Day Healthy with Immune-System Care.” As an activity launched from 2022, these classes have been organized for over 35,000 children at more than 500 schools around Japan.
Activities Supporting the Health of Busy Working People
There is a trend to excessively strive for the sake of others, which can result in overlooking our own health. This is an issue widely encountered by the current working generation.
That trend is especially true of medical workers and kindergarten teachers. With such professionals engaged in the everyday mission of supporting the needs of persons who are ill and small children, proper maintenance of their own health also leads to greater support for the wellbeing of those around them.
At KIRIN, we work to uphold more accessible daily immune-system health for those who, while although devoted to their work, may find it difficult to take time for themselves.
