Enjoy your alcohol with a health checkup!
Have I been drinking too much lately? , Have I put on a bit of weight since I was younger?
Worrying about your health while drinking is not good for you.
In order to enjoy alcoholic drinks for a long time without worry, it is important to know your health condition.
Whether you drink alcohol or not, it is a good idea to have a regular health checkup once or twice a year.
If you are worried about your health, an abdominal ultrasound is also useful in addition to the usual blood and urine tests.
Suppose the results of the tests show that you have a lifestyle-related disease such as diabetes, gout ,high blood pressure, or liver disease. In that case, you should focus on treatment and seek your doctor's advice about drinking alcohol. In particular, because the liver, which is often called the “silent organ,” often does not show any symptoms, you should take the proper steps.
In addition, a growing number of people do not work for a company or organization, or stop having health checks after leaving their jobs. As a barometer for drinking in moderation, we recommend that you voluntarily undergo a health check every year.

Common liver function tests
Liver function tests include the γ-GTP test, which increases when a person continues to drink alcohol; the GOT/GPT test, which checks the extent of liver cell damage; the AL-P/LAP test, which checks for abnormalities in the biliary system; and the serum bilirubin test, which checks for the presence of jaundice and the proteins contained in the serum.
In general, the GOT and GPT levels will increase in the case of alcoholic liver disease. In addition, the γ-GTP level will increase if a person continues to drink a lot of alcohol and will decrease if they stop drinking, so drinking habits influence those values. For this reason, they are used as a guide to identify excessive drinking to give advice to those who drink excessively to drink in moderation.
