Initiatives

Social contribution activities by employees

The Kirin Group encourages the employees to participate in social contribution activities in their personal time, in order to raise their awareness of social issues that are related to the Kirin Group’s businesses and to strengthen the foundations of CSV management. To support their activities, we have established “Kirin Volunteer Portal”, a site that provides information on volunteer recruitment nationwide and articles on social contribution activities.

Disaster relief activities for people in disaster areas

In the event of a major disaster, the Kirin Group provides support in line with the scale of the disaster and local needs, in order to fulfill our corporate social responsibilities. In addition to providing financial support to those affected to rebuild their livelihood, we also actively provide material support using the resources of the Kirin Group, such as beverages, food, and supplements. Through these initiatives, we will continue to support the earliest possible recovery of the disaster areas.

Past Social contribution activities

The Kirin KIZUNA Relief-Support Project

The Kirin KIZUNA Relief-Support Project has been conducted as an activity to support recovery from the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami based on the theme of "forming bonds between people". Centered on the three areas of "helping restore the local food culture and food industry", "bring smiles to children" and "helping people enhance their mental and physical wellness", the group companies have come together to conduct activities for over 10 years. With the aim of forming bonds that will last long into the future, we will continue to conduct a wide range of activities.
