2019-2021 CSV Commitments

The Company’s CSV Commitment is its medium- to long-term action plan for each business unit, intended to realize its CSV Purpose, a set of long-term, non-financial goals included in its long-term management vision, Kirin Group Vision 2027. To that end, we are aimed at reaching the non-financial targets put forth in the Kirin Group 2019 Medium-Term Business Plan, spanning from 2019 to 2021. The Kirin Holdings Board of Directors monitors the implementation status of these targets. Furthermore, progress and achievements toward the CSV Commitment are treated as performance indicators for evaluating directors on the Kirin Holdings Board at the end of each fiscal year (with the exception of outside directors). The Nomination and Remuneration Advisory Committee, which primarily comprises outside directors, deliberates over these results and reports its decisions to the Board of Directors.
Linking these targets to our business strategy will serve to generate social value as an entire Group while enhancing our level of CSV management, which in turn will lead to economic value in the form of greater competitive strength and business growth.
