Notice Regarding Price Revision For Kirin Beverage Products

TOKYO, Monday February 13, 2023 - Kirin Beverage Company, Limited (Kirin Beverage) will revise the prices for certain products delivered from Monday, May 1, 2023.

In order to deliver safe and high-quality products at reasonable prices, Kirin Beverage has been making corporate efforts and management rationalizations to improve productivity and reduce costs in all aspects of the business. However, due to the sharp depreciation of the yen among other factors in recent years, which has significantly increased all costs, including raw materials, Kirin Beverage had implemented price revisions for some products effective last October 1.

However, Kirin Beverage expects that the uncertain and difficult environment will continue in the future due to the ongoing rise in prices of raw materials, containers and packaging materials, and related costs such as energy and logistics. Under these circumstances, Kirin Beverage has determined that it will be difficult to absorb the cost increases through its existing corporate efforts alone, and has decided to implement price revisions for some of its products.

Kirin Beverage will continue its efforts to improve management efficiency through continuous corporate efforts to deliver safe, high-quality products that will delight consumers.
