Kirin Holdings Company, Limited

TOKYO, February 16, 2026 -Kirin Holdings Company, Limited (Kirin Holdings) has been awarded the highest rating, the Water Security "A List," in the assessment conducted by the international non-profit organization CDP. This marks the tenth time, and tenth consecutive year, that the company has been named to the Water Security "A List."

We believe that our selection as an "A List company" for water security this year was based on the following initiatives:

● Assessing water risks*2 across our globally distributed supply chain and company-operated facilities, developing goals and strategies focused on regions identified as having high water stress*3, and continuously implementing these measures in priority regions.
● Setting ambitious, world-class water intensity targets at Lion Australia, a subsidiary located in a region with particularly high water stress.
● Accelerating the achievement of world-class water intensity at Lion Australia's Tooheys brewery through the introduction of a water recycling plant (reverse osmosis treatment) in 2024. This is the second such facility introduced in water-stressed Australia, following the Castlemaine Perkins factory.
● Through supply chain analysis, we expanded water source conservation activities within tea plantations in Sri Lanka, a major production region for Kirin Afternoon Tea, where significant WASH*4 challenges have been identified.

The Kirin Group conducts its business by harnessing natural resources as raw materials and leveraging the power and wisdom of nature. In addressing complex environmental challenges involving biological resources, water resources, containers & packaging, and climate change, the Kirin Group promotes initiatives that deliver a positive impact on nature and people from an integrated perspective.
We aim to share our commitment to passing on the Earth's abundant blessings to future generations with everyone involved throughout our value chain.

*2 Refers to various water-related risks, including physical risks (such as water scarcity and flooding) and reputational risks (risks related to reputation).
