Effects Observed After the Introduction of CoreMate*2

Since CoreMate was introduced in July last year, changes have been observed in discussion content and perspectives, contributing to improved decision-making quality. Some of the observed effects are as follows:

Strengthening of “Multifaceted Discussions” Through the Addition of New Perspectives

In meetings, the proportion of remarks that add new viewpoints or shift/expand the discussions perspective increased by approximately 1.2 times compared with the previous period. As a result, discussions have become deeper, going beyond simple fact-checking or reporting.

Establishment of “Future-Oriented Discussions” That Drive Sustainable Growth

The proportion of discussions conducted from a medium- to long-term perspective increased by approximately 1.4 times compared with before. In addition to addressing short-term issues, the activation of medium- to long-term discussions has promoted robust management dialogue that advances CSV*3.

In September 2025, Kirin also released a pre-meeting “idea sparring” function for proposal owners in Group Executive Committee . This function enables proposal owners to consider issues in advance from diverse management perspectives, improving the accuracy of issue structuring and material preparation. As a result, meeting times have been shortened, contributing to improved productivity.
The time created through these efficiencies is then used by executives to increase their own input, leading to the next cycle of value creation—a positive virtuous cycle has been observed.
*2 Effects were measured based on meeting data before the introduction of CoreMate (August 2024–March 2025) and after its introduction (August 2025–March 2026).
*3 Creating Shared Value. The creation of shared value for consumers and society.

Deployment Across Group Operating Companies

Based on the results described above, Kirin Holdings will roll out CoreMate to Group operating companies, including Kirin Brewery Company, Limited and Kirin Beverage Company, Limited.
By utilizing CoreMate in Executive Committee at each operating company, perspectives and discussion points that should be emphasized at the Group level will naturally be incorporated into individual company meetings. In parallel, more detailed information from each operating company will be shared through data linkage at the Group Executive Committee Through these initiatives, Kirin expects to further enhance the quality of decision-making across the entire Group.
To support deployment across Group operating companies, CoreMate has been restructured as a standard application that can be commonly used by each company on a unified platform. This redevelopment was carried out in-house through AI-driven development, utilizing generative AI to streamline processes from requirements definition through implementation.

Future Outlook

Looking ahead, Kirin plans to introduce “virtual meetings” in which multiple AI personas within CoreMate deliberate on agenda items for Group Executive Committee. In addition to the existing approach—where 12 personas individually present discussion points based on their respective areas of expertise—AI executive personas will engage in dialogue with one another to visualize what kind of deliberation process leads to which options being formed.
This will allow management to grasp more quickly the issues they should consider and the prerequisites for decisions, further improving both the quality and speed of human decision-making and accelerating innovation across the Kirin Group.

Based on the KDV2035, the Kirin Group has established two pillars for achieving business results: “eliminating tasks that do not need to be done by people” (i.e., productivity improvement) and “accelerating the creation of value together with people ” (i.e., value creation). By focusing on manufacturing that naturally centers on people, Kirin will expand new joys in food and health and contribute to the realization of a more fulfilling society.
