“KIRIN iMUSE Lactococcus Lemon Water” to Launch in Taiwan from June 24

TOKYO, June 24, 2026 - Kirin Beverage Company, Limited (Kirin Beverage) will launch “KIRIN iMUSE Lactococcus Lemon Water*1” containing Kirin’s proprietary ingredient L. lactic Plasma in Taiwan on Wednesday, June 24. This marks the first overseas export of a beverage manufactured by Kirin Beverage that contain L. lactic Plasma.

Within the Kirin Group’s Health Science business, expanding products containing L. lactic Plasma both domestically and internationally is positioned as one of the key initiatives addressing “health,” a priority issue under CSV*2 management. The beverage launch in Taiwan represents one such initiative to further broaden the application areas of L. lactic Plasma.

“KIRIN iMUSE Lactococcus Lemon Water” is a beverage developed by leveraging the expertise cultivated through the “iMUSE” brand, which has mainly been marketed in Japan, and contains L. lactic Plasma.
To date, the Company has exported and sold product series such as “Kirin Gogo-no-Kocha” and “Kirin Nama-cha” in Taiwan. In 2025, the combined sales volume of these series increased by approximately 30% year-on-year*3, achieving steady growth. By leveraging the proven track record and insights gained in the local market, the Company has decided to launch this product in Taiwan, with a view to further expanding distribution channels in the future.
