TOKYO, February 13, 2026 -Kirin Holdings Company, Limited (Kirin Holdings) has formulated its new long-term vision for 2035, "Innovate2035!"

Reflection on the Long-Term Vision "KV2027" and Anticipated Future Environmental Changes

Under its long-term vision "KV2027", launched in 2019, the Kirin Group has pursued CSV*1 management – viewing societal challenges as growth opportunities – and expanded its business domains through the launch of its Health Science business. This aligns with its goal of becoming "A global leader in CSV, creating value across our world of Food & Beverages to Pharmaceuticals". The Health Science business is set to achieve profitability in 2025, establishing a robust portfolio of businesses encompassing alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals, and health science.
Meanwhile, the environment surrounding the Kirin Group is expected to undergo even more intense change than before, driven by factors including the evolution of AI. People's values are also shifting significantly, and various social issues affecting management are becoming increasingly apparent both domestically and internationally.
To achieve sustainable growth in such an environment, we believe it is crucial for the Kirin Group to adapt to the changing landscape, further evolve our CSV management by addressing social issues, and advance the creation of both social and economic value.

Towards a corporate group that creates the future of physical and mental wellbeing for consumers

Celebrating its 120th anniversary in 2027, our group upholds the philosophy: "KIRIN brings joy to society by crafting food and healthcare products inspired by the blessings of nature and the insights of our customers." Through its founding beer business, it has continually refined its expertise in "fermentation and biotechnology". Food and health represent fundamental human needs that transcend any era. We shall contribute to realizing a 'heart-enriching society' by creating value that accompanies consumers throughout every stage of life.
This time, through "KV2027", we have formulated a new long-term vision, "Innovate2035!", to ensure continued growth for the next 100 years. This leverages the organizational capabilities cultivated across diverse business domains, focusing on autonomous business growth and growth through synergies of group assets. We will pursue our vision of "Vitalize the world through innovation by our people and technology, as a global leader in CSV".
Kirin positions its innovation as "To encourage behavioral change among consumers and create new lifestyle habits in society". We will establish a framework to continuously generate innovation by combining our technological capabilities in fermentation and biotechnology with organizational capabilities in consumer-centric marketing, alongside AI and external co-creation. Furthermore, we will enhance the certainty of innovation through talent development that supports, executes, and accelerates these initiatives.
Within our world-class R&D, guided by the concept of "High Science", we will advance research and development of highly original, cutting-edge technologies, continuously generating seeds for major innovations. Furthermore, through co-creation with AI, we will accelerate all processes and implement marketing that deeply understands each individual consumer. Viewing heightened health consciousness as an opportunity for growth, we will strive to create new value across our business domains: Alcoholic Beverages, Non-alcoholic Beverages & Health Science, and Pharmaceuticals.

Alcoholic Beverages Business

In the Alcoholic Beverages business, we will build upon our robust domestic operations to pursue global growth opportunities. Furthermore, we will establish a new "Technology Innovation Center" to centralize our technology strategy from R&D through to commercialization. By also advancing external collaborations, we will build a framework for creating innovative value.

Non-alcoholic Beverages & Health Science Business

In the Non-alcoholic Beverages business, we will leverage our extensive customer touchpoints to expand the target audiences and scenarios where we can deliver health value. We will address diverse health needs, focusing on immune care while also addressing concerns such as fat management and heatstroke prevention.
In the Health Science business, we will pursue global scale expansion and higher profitability. To reliably capture the growing health demand, we will establish Kirin Health Science International*2 to oversee Health Science operations across APAC excluding Japan. We will build an operating model that pursues efficiency and consistency across regions through a unified global brand strategy and standardized business processes, accelerating the global expansion of this business.

Pharmaceuticals Business

In the Pharmaceuticals business, we will pursue sustainable growth by continuing R&D investment while overcoming changes in the business environment, such as the expiry of patents for key products. By combining antibody therapeutics, gene therapy, and AI, we will create life-changing value and also drive synergies with the Health Science business.

By achieving autonomous growth in each business while also advancing growth through cross-domain combinations, we will strive to realize our 2035 Vision: "Vitalize the world through innovation by our people and technology, as a global leader in CSV."

Sustainable Enhancement of Corporate Value

To realize the 2035 Vision, we set financial targets of high single-digit percentage growth in EPS and ROIC of 10% or more. Furthermore, we establish non-financial indicators*3 to capture the sources of sustainable growth that financial metrics alone cannot fully capture, visualizing progress towards our three-year targets. We will set targets across the following areas: "Health and Well-Being", "Community Engagement", "The Environment", and "Responsibility of Kirin Group which runs Alcoholic Beverage businesses" – based on the Kirin Group's "CSV Purpose" – alongside "R&D", "Digital", and "Human Capital" as sources of innovation. We will continuously enhance corporate value through the achievement of both financial and non-financial targets.
