Policy and Strategy
Toward the Deepening of Health and Productivity Management
The Kirin Group strives to create new value in food and health through craftsmanship that respects both nature and people, thereby contributing to the realization of a society filled with well-being.
The driving force behind the achievement of this Group Management Philosophy is our people.
To ensure that employees can work with peace of mind and vitality, we have been advancing health and productivity management initiatives.
In February 2026, toward the realization of our Long-Term Management Vision, Innovate 2035!, we renewed the Kirin Group Health Declaration as the Kirin Group Well-being Statement and will roll it out globally, with the aim of further deepening our commitment to health and productivity management.
Kirin Group’s well-being statement
Kirin Group is committed to bringing joy to society by crafting food and healthcare products.
Guided by this management philosophy, we advance our CSV (Creating Shared Value) initiatives through our businesses in alcoholic beverages, non‑alcoholic beverages and health science, and pharmaceuticals. Through these efforts, we strive to address key social issues, foremost among them “health,” and to create value that benefits both society and our company.
To broaden the joy of our consumers and patients, constant innovation is indispensable. At the heart of this innovation lies the combined power of our people and our technologies.
The power of people is fully realized when each employee takes pride and joy in their work and is able to perform with vitality.
As we deliver value rooted in “health” to society, we believe that it is essential for our employees themselves to enhance their own well‑being. This commitment to employee well‑being represents one of the most important foundations of our company.
Under the Kirin Group’s fundamental personnel philosophy, which respects human dignity, we regard the relationship between our employees and the company as one of equal partners.
As we expand our businesses across countries and regions around the world, we will continue to foster an organizational environment where employees can truly experience the joy of working at Kirin Group—while respecting the unique cultures and environments of each locality.
As a result of these initiatives, we will pursue sustainable growth as a group that “creates a future of well‑being for all people”, including our employees.

In health management, we aim to achieve "A condition in which each employee is able to consistently perform at a high level by working actively and is in good health every day, thereby enhancing the satisfaction of working."

Matters discussed at the Group Well-being Committee are subsequently reported to the “Group CSV Committee,” chaired by the President of Kirin Holdings, and are further presented and reported to the Board of Directors.
In addition, for practical implementation, the “Domestic Health and Productivity Management Working-level Committee”—comprising health promotion managers from domestic group companies and members of the health insurance society—holds discussions on planning initiatives, monitoring progress, and sharing best practices across the group.
All these committees are coordinated by the Well-being Team within the Human Resources Strategy Department of Kirin Holdings Company, Limited.
